💍 Edmond’s Proposal in the Forest

Edmond from Australia reached out with a vision to propose while horseback riding through Hokkaido’s serene forest. Since he didn’t speak Japanese, I handled the full coordination — from reserving a private riding session to arranging a bouquet and champagne.

On the day, I posed as staff and asked to take photos for the ranch website. While his girlfriend looked up at the sky, Edmond got on one knee. She turned, saw the ring — and cried. I captured every moment.

🌼 Beau’s Surprise in a Sapporo Park

Beau from the USA contacted me about a month in advance. He was staying in Sapporo and wanted to propose in a natural setting with flowers. I explained the blooming forecast, and since it wasn’t flower season, I suggested a lush local park instead.

He was worried about the weather, but with advance checks, we had a perfect day.

I arranged a colorful bouquet through a local florist, based on colors I thought his girlfriend would love. On the day of the shoot, I and my assistant, who was filming, pretended to be tourists photographing birds in the park.

I casually offered to take a photo for the couple. I then asked them to stand back-to-back and look outward — while she was turned, Beau got the ring ready.

When she turned around, she couldn’t hide her joy. After the proposal, we continued with a relaxed and happy couple session.

🌸 A’s Cherry Blossom Proposal in Hakodate

A contacted me just one day before his planned proposal. He was deciding between Lake Toya and Hakodate, but since the cherry blossoms in Hakodate were at their peak, I recommended a beautiful local park for the big moment.

Because the spot is popular and often crowded, I suggested an early morning session. We finalized everything that same day, and met the next morning for the surprise.

Before the shoot, I shared a map with the most scenic cherry blossom spots and advised him where the best backgrounds would be. We also exchanged outfit photos and used live location sharing to confirm positioning.

On the day of the proposal, I disguised myself as a tourist. Once A began proposing, I started capturing the moment discreetly from a distance.

After the surprise, we continued with a relaxed couple photo session under the cherry blossoms.
